The meeting consisted of two plenary speakers, Dr Louis Morrill (Cardiff University) and Professor Song Lin (Cornell), four Early Career Researcher talks, and a wine reception, and had over 80 people in attendance from all over the country.

The event, which is run by the Lennox group and sponsored by Merck and IKA, acts as a satellite event to the Bristol Synthesis Meeting​, and provides people working or interested in organic electrosynthesis an opportunity to learn more about the field and meet those working in it.
