Worsley Chemical Library

The School of Chemistry is fortunate to have a Chemistry Library (the Worsley Chemical Library) on-site, managed by the University Library, which offers Chemistry students quiet study and group study spaces very close to their lecture theatres, labs, and social space, together with open access PCs and printing and scanning facilities.

The Chemistry Library is a wireless hotspot. Students may also use the other branch libraries in the University Library.

The Chemistry Library also provides undergraduate students with easy access to the recommended course textbooks (both digital and physical copies) and past Chemistry exam papers, and researchers with access to key databases (SciFinder, Reaxys, Web of Science, etc.), thousands of academic journals online or in hard copy, research monographs, and School of Chemistry theses. There is a growing Bristol Reads collection with fiction, audio books, graphic novels and non-fiction.

Help and training in the use of the library and chemistry information resources is given to all students. Further support is offered on request via the Subject Librarian
