NTF and CATE Schemes

The purpose of the Advance HE, National Teaching Fellowship (NTF) scheme is to recognise, reward, and celebrate individuals who are judged to make an outstanding impact on the student learning experience, and provide the means to develop a proactive community of National Teaching Fellows.

The purpose of the Advance HE, Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) scheme is to recognise and reward collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning. The scheme highlights the key role that teamwork plays in higher education.
