There are a number of ways BILT can support you in undertaking education research and innovation.
We have provided a number of Academic Fellowships to look further into a certain area, or you can apply for one of our grants. We also host three of Learning Communities - we always welcome staff wishing to join them.
BILT's Educational Enhancement Funds build upon the previously available University Teaching Fellowships and University Teaching Development Grants.
The purpose of BILT grants are to:
- draw in educational expertise from across the university to deliver major educational research and scholarly work within the University’s educational priorities;
- make small-scale individual funding available to encourage teaching and learning innovations within units and programmes;
- encourage the formation of sustainable disciplinary communities and networks aimed at educational enhancement;
- make individual Fellowships available for staff who have a well-defined educational research plan.
We are currently accepting Discretionary Seedcorn Funding applications for 2019/20.
