The Best of Bristol lecture series (BoB) showcases the best of the University of Bristol's lecturers, as voted for by students. BoB is student-led, the lecturers and lecture topics are nominated by students and the series of lectures is organised by students and supported by the University of Bristol and Bristol Students’ Union.
The BoB series aims to:
- Inspire students to take an interest in subjects outside of their main discipline
- Give students a taster of the wide range of disciplines taught at the University
- Celebrate the excellent teaching at the University
- Celebrate the University’s vibrant learning community
Forthcoming BoB lectures
A number of lectures from the 19/20 series were sadly postponed due to restrictions related to COVID-19. We hope to reschedule these as part of our 2021/22 series taking place in Teaching Block 1. The series will also include an invitation for the forthcoming winners of the Bristol Teaching Awards, Inspiring and Innovative Teaching Award to take part. Further details will be announced at the start of 2021/22.
