Outstanding Research Supervision Award

Three awards (one for the Arts and Social Sciences and Law Faculty, Engineering and Science Faculty, and Health Sciences and Life Sciences Faculty) will be made to staff members or teams who provide research supervision and who meet some (or ideally all) of the following criteria: 
 
  • supports students to develop as researchers, for example, by nurturing curiosity, persistence, and a love of learning
  • helps to create a stimulating research environment  
  • are approachable, supportive and offer high quality advice and guidance 
  • encourages students to become members of their scholarly communities

Nomination principles

  • Nominations are anonymous 
  • Self-nominations are not eligible 
  • Winners from the past 3 years are not eligible for shortlisting 
  • Duplicate nominations will be ignored
