Outstanding Personal Tutoring/Academic Support Award

One award will be made to an academic staff member who meets some (or ideally all) of the following criteria: 
  
  • encourages students to reflect on and develop their academic skills
  • creates opportunities for students to develop wider personal skills for example: employability or collaboration skills 
  • helps students to feel a valued member of the university community 
  • support students in reflecting on their values and identity, and making plans to achive their ambitions 

Nomination principles

  • Nominations are anonymous 
  • Self-nominations are not eligible 
  • Winners from the past 3 years are not eligible for shortlisting 
  • Duplicate nominations will be ignored
