Visitor parking at our residences

Virtual pay and display visitor parking applies in all residence car parks. Visitors can book parking vouchers over the phone or by text message by using virtual pay and display systems that are located car parks at: 

  • Badock Hall
  • Churchill Hall
  • Clifton Hill House
  • Durdham Hall
  • Goldney Hall
  • Hiatt Baker Hall
  • Manor Hall and annexes
  • University Hall
  • Wills Hall 

Conference delegates and visitors

All delegates visiting seminars, conferences, and events held in our residences will be required to pre-book visitor’s spaces through the Conference Office Team. They may also buy parking vouchers over the phone or by text message by using virtual pay and display systems locacted in each car park. 

Visitor spaces are limited and delegates are encouraged to access the University by public transport or means other than the car. Spaces will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Disabled visitors

Disabled visitors should use the designated disabled spaces, nearest to their intended designation wherever possible. If all disabled parking spaces are full at any given site, local arrangements should be found to park the visitor in a suitable location. Disabled visitors do not require a virtual permit but must display their Blue Badge.  

Business visitors

Staff wanting to book parking for their visitors can do so registering for an online account with PermitSmarti and purchasing vouchers through VoucherSmarti. Using this secure online account, you can set up Visitor Vouchers and pay by Cost Code at any time. For Staff Voucher purchases the applications will be reviewed prior to permit authorisation by a member of the Residences Car Parking team.

How to book virtual visitor permits

Virtual Visitor Permits are non-transferable from one vehicle to another, nor between residence car parks.
