Inclusive spaces

Bristol has many community-led spaces and initiatives which endeavour to make the city as inclusive as possible. Many of our independent businesses also share this ethos.

With over 1,500 voluntary and social economy organisations, there are hundreds of opportunities to get involved. Share culture with the 91Ways project, which celebrates the 91 different languages spoken across the city.

Bristol Pride is held on Clifton Downs every July and is just one of the many LGBTQ+ events which takes place in the city. There are also many LGBTQ+ spaces and community groups. Just one example is the Flashpoint bouldering centre, which hosts Queer Climbing once a month.
