The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute’s Vice-Chancellor’s Fellowship is a special award for future leaders in health research. We welcome applicants from any subject background with strong and growing track record in health or biomedical research and a plan of research that crosses disciplines.

The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research supports research ranging from laboratory science through to clinically applied research. Our interests are broad and in particular we encourage applications from individuals whose research addresses and provides solutions to research questions including in global health, health challenges of the 21st century, digital health, and equality.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate that outputs and publications are in keeping with your years of experience.

The funds awarded for the EBI Vice-Chancellor Fellowship include contributions from the University of Bristol and our Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund and as such are covered by the Wellcome Trust terms and conditions
