Balmer, Derek Negatives of black and white photographic prints from Bristol Old Vic productions c.1963 - 1985 taken by Derek Balmer, the Bristol Old Vic's in-house photographer.
Vickers, John The archive of photographer John Vickers (1916 - 1976) comprises approximately 21,000 prints; 16,500 glass plate negatives; 20,000 film negatives; 18,000 slides as well as business and personal records 25 boxes of manuscripts, photographic and theatre-related material.

Core Theatre Collections This is a grouping of artificial collections, organised by format (design, programme, costume etc), historically used to catalogue small groups of archival and reference material donated to the Theatre Collection via various channels. 
Mander & Mitchenson Raymond Mander and Joe Mitchenson started collecting theatrical material in the 1930s. They later established a trust and became an independent charity, which continued to care for and add to the collection even after their deaths. The M&M collection was one of the three largest theatre history archives in the country when it was legally transferred in its entirety to the University of Bristol Theatre Collection in December 2010.
Southern, Richard Richard Southern (1903 - 1989) was a theatre designer, academic, researcher and prolific collector. His collection is an important visual resource, particularly strong in the areas of theatre architecture and backstage information, including plans, photographs, cuttings, as well as scenery and costume.
Tessler, Jeff - Collection of Panto Backcloth Photographs A collection of photographs of 20th century Pantomime backcloths / stagings collected by enthusiast Jeff Tessler.
Wickham, Glynne Professor Glynne Wickham (1922 - 2004) was a senior member of the Bristol University Drama Department from 1948 - 2002, and an internationally renowned scholar in the field of medieval drama. His impressive knowledge of Shakespearean and Jacobean stage led to his acting as consultant on the Bankside Globe project. This archive reflects his research, work and interests and includes his designs for costumes and scenery.
