What to expect at your Politics offer holder event
Once you have received an offer to study at the University, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.
We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.
This event is for offer holders for the following courses:
- Politics and International Relations (BSc)
- Politics and International Relations with Study Abroad (BSc)
- Politics with Quantitative Research Methods (BSci)
- Politics with Quantitative Research Methods with Study Abroad (BSc)
- Politics with Quantitative Research Methods (MSci)

Saturday 23 March
Registration
Time: 1:45 - 2 pm
A warm welcome to the Department of Politics, where you will be greeted by our academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for your day.
Course Talk
Time: 2 - 2:30 pm
You will be able to hear about how the course is taught and student experience in the school. You will also have a chance to network, meet students who study the course, our academics and other offer holders.
Comfort Break
Time: 2:30 - 2:45 pm
A short comfort break between sessions.
Taster Lecture and Q&A
Time: 2:45 - 3:30 pm
You will experience a taster lecture demonstrating the teaching and research taking place at the University of Bristol. There will be time for questions following this.
Networking Activity
Time: 3:45 - 4:15 pm
Meet our staff, students and other offer holders in a final networking session. This is a chance to ask any remaining questions before you depart.
