Here are some of the priorities you highlighted and what we're doing to improve your experience:

Make finding information and getting help easier

We have extended the opening hours of the Student Services phone line to improve access.

We have made significant improvements to our app, such as:

Simplifying the login process
Personalising your experience so it's more relevant to you
Adding the name and email address of your personal tutor
Listing more non-educational events so you know what's happening at the university

We have made it easier and quicker for you to apply for financial hardship support from our financial assistance fund.
We have increased our hardship funding budget in response to the ongoing cost of living crisis.

We have introduced a Study skills drop-in hub at the Senate House.
We have opened an 84-seat Live Learning Space at the Senate House for attending online classes.

We have launched an online events calendar so its easier to see and book activities hosted by various services, including:

We have frozen rent on the majority of the catered halls for the 2023/24 academic year.

We have improved our online guidance on finding private rented accommodation.
We have created an interactive map so you can easily see the travel times and profiles of different areas of Bristol to help with your property search.
