Paul Willis will be speaking at the 'Reimagining retirement living - a new look at older people’s housing?' session of the Housing LIN Summit - A Festival of Ideas. This session will look at the housing for older people’s market and share ideas on how the sector is reimagining the vision for retirement living in how and where it develops, designs and operates more resilient communities.

Dr Paul Willis is an Associate Professor in Social Work and Social Gerontology in the School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol. He is also Head of the Centre for Research in Health and Social Care in the School and a Senior Fellow of the NIHR School for Social Care Research.

Paul's research areas include: inclusive housing provision for older people; loneliness, ageing and masculinities; sexuality, care and ageing; trans ageing and gender identity; and inclusive care provision for diverse groups of older people. Paul teaches on the MSc Social Work programme at Bristol.
