Research governance, integrity and ethics

We have put a set of regulations, principles and standards of good practice in place to ensure our research is safe, ethical and methodologically sound.

  • Research Integrity
Initiatives to ensure that integrity, ethics and excellence are at the core of our research activities and fully embedded in our research culture.
  • Research ethics
Our commitment to protecting the rights, dignity, health, safety and privacy of research subjects, the welfare of animals and the integrity of the environment.
  • Human Tissue Act compliance
The University's obligations under the Human Tissue Act.
  • Research data management and open data policy
Guidance and support on the responsibilities of the University and its staff in managing and preserving current or future research data.
  • Research transparency
We have developed a position statement outlining our institutional approach to research transparency, which we consider integral to ensuring research quality and promoting a positive research culture.
