Congratulations to our MPhil student Blair Thomson, who won the Community Champion category of the Outstanding Plus Award for their dedication and commitment to supporting the wellbeing and resilience of youth and adults in communities across Glasgow. Whilst a Youth and Adult Development charity worker in Glasgow, Blair managed and delivered arts sessions for young people and a wellbeing group for adults who experience barriers to participation. He employed creative activities to successfully address mental health issues, encourage integration and resilience, nurturing young volunteers and enabling the adult group to become self-sufficient.
