Sophie says "In this paper, we highlight the constraints on future quantum networks caused by signaling and address them experimentally. Not only does signaling appear due to noise and finite statistics, but it can also cause violations of entanglement witnesses even when no underlying entanglement exists. We propose an algorithm to correct for apparent signaling in a semi-device independent scenario and a resource-friendly method that searches for an optimal witness but does not require full state tomography on either party."
