QECDT student Anthony Thompson from cohort 7 has recently had a paper entitled "Chaos and pole-skipping in a simply spinning plasma" added to the Physics archive.
Anthony says "An important aspect of maximally-chaotic many-body systems is that they can be described using an effective hydrodynamic field theory. One prediction of this effective description is the phenomenon of pole-skipping which establishes a connection between the Lyapunov exponent of the OTOC and the energy-density Green's function. Here, we study the phenomenon of pole-skipping in the field theory dual to the 5-dimensional spinning Myers-Perry black hole, with equal angular momentum."
