The team will work closely with Bristol City Council, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and Action on Smoking and Health to: 1. Provide clear information to policy makers about the impact banning flavoured e-liquids/ disposable vapes could have on smokers, vapers and young people using a policy decision aid 2. Discourage young people in the Southwest from using disposable e-cigarettes by co-designing an intervention with pupils and teachers Funding awarded by PolicyBristol from the Research England QR Policy Support Fund (QR PSF) 2022-24.

Dr Jasmine Khouja, Dr Angela Attwood and Prof Marcus Munafo have been awarded £100,000 of funding by PolicyBristol from the Research England QR Policy Support Fund to support their project titled “Informing evidence-based policies and interventions to responsibly reduce e-cigarette use among youth”.
