TARG Mobile Laboratory Student Engagement Events

Press release issued: 2 November 2022

Members of TARG have been engaging with University of Bristol Students.

On Thursday the 13th of October members of TARG set up a stall in front of the Hawthorns Building (Woodland Road) to engage with the general public about their work. TARG's mobile laboratory was used to create the stall.

In particular, TARG's principal fields of research were introduced and discussed with the public. Examples of current research projects were made available on the stall.

Members of the public were given the opportunity to sign up to TARG's mailing list. This mailing list sends a monthly newsletter, where opportunities for patient and public involvement (PPI) and participation in studies are shared.

Further information

TARG will be out again for a second day of public engagement activities on the 10th of November. This will open at 11am, and will be at the same location (The Hawthorns).
