Work with us at the Centre for Ethics in Medicine
We are pleased to welcome academic and other colleagues who wish to spend time as a visitor to the Centre for Ethics in Medicine. If you are interested in spending time with us, please follow the process below.
Please email brms-ethicsinfo@bristol.ac.uk with the following information:
- An outline of why you wish to visit, any relevant project details, and what you would like to do or achieve during your visit. For example, visitors may have a personal project to undertake, specific people or teams they would like to meet, and/or they may wish to spend time collaborating with colleagues in the Centre team.
- A copy of your current CV/resume.
- An indication of when you would like to visit. Whether we can host visitors will depend on staff availability and current commitments during the period of the proposed visit.
Please note that long stays may incur desk fees. For information about current funding schemes to support visitors, please see below.
Funded fellowships
If you have a research idea you would like to pursue at the Centre, do contact us to discuss funding options.
We would be happy to discuss your idea and, if it is a good fit for the Centre, support a funding application.
Current funding situation
We regret that we currently have no funding schemes to support visitors, so you will ideally have access to funding to support your trip.
