This seminar will explore some of the work members of the Centre for Ethics in Medicine have been doing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will comprise five short presentations followed by discussion/Q&A. The five presentations will be:

  • Clinical Ethics Support (Prof Richard Huxtable)
  • Ethics and the media (Dr Jonathan Ives)
  • Abortion access and telemedicine (Jordan A. Parsons)
  • Indirect racial discrimination (Dr Harleen Kaur Johal)
  • Surgical ethics (Dr Jonathan Ives)
