Call for Evidence: Have your say on the Agriculture Bill

Consultation date: November 2018

Background to the call for evidence

As the Agricultural Bill passed to Committee Stage in the House of Commons, the Public Bill Committee launched a call for evidence on the proposals, to support their work on amending the draft legislation.

Response to the call for evidence

A group of researchers collaborated on a written submission on behalf of Bristol Veterinary School, which addressed the proposed system of public money for public goods, animal welfare, impact of withdrawing direct payments, data collection and use, and implications for research.
