I followed an Undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Masters by Research at the University of Bristol. My Masters was in the field of Nutrition and Behaviour and investigated methods to reduce food disgust towards sustainable and nutritious proteins that are usually rejected as food (e.g., edible insects).

Following this I completed a PhD within the same research group at the University of Bristol. While still on the topic of food disgust, my PhD was focused on how disgust affects human appetite - i.e., how does it cause us to reject food? I also investigated methods of measuring food disgust - e.g., using physiological and behavioural measures. Finally I investigated interventions to increase intake of insects.

Currently I work as a teaching focused Lecturer in the Psychological Science department.
