Research interests
My research interests include applied health economic evaluations alongside randomised controlled trials, particularly for non-pharmacological interventions for long-term conditions. I am also interested in more methodological aspects of economic evaluation, and have developed a research programme in costing methodology. I explore the use of both routine data sources and patient-reported methods for collecting resource-use data, and am particularly interested in the effective inclusion of social care data alongside healthcare data. I have also recently led a Delphi survey to identify the key content of a health economics analysis plan (HEAP) to create guidance for practitioners.
