Press release issued: 28 May 2018
The University of Bristol has climbed to 65th in the world and 7th in the UK, according to a new league table published today [28 May].
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) 2018/19 assessed 18,000 universities on seven criteria.
Bristol has risen 54 places from 119th to 65th in the world, and is now 7th in the UK – up one place on last year's ranking.
CWUR is the only academic ranking of global universities that assesses the quality of education, alumni employment, research output, and citations without relying on surveys and university data submissions.
