School of Earth Sciences mourns passing of ‘departmental lungfish’

Local media have noted the demise of a lungfish who resided in the School of Earth Sciences and developed a following on social media.

The 23-inch-long fish was given the name ‘Dr Leonard P Annectens’ after becoming popular with students and had his own staff page, as well as Facebook and Twitter accounts.
