The exhibition is a visual feast, and traces the history of Penguin, from its founding by Bristolian Allen Lane in 1935 through the Second World War to the iconic titles and designs we identify with today.
There are Penguins, Pelicans and Puffins – books for all ages and interests – and plenty of child-friendly activities, including a Roald Dahl DVD to watch. Penguin ‘Make and Take’ workshops run on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm. The exhibition closes at the end of Sunday 22 April.
