Local media coverage for Schools Chemistry Conference

The RSC Schools Chemistry Conference attracted 320 local school students and was filmed by BBC Points West for their lunchtime and evening news.

The RSC Schools Chemistry Conference attracted 320 local school students, who enjoyed a lecture demonstration from Tim Harrison, Director of Outreach at the University's Bristol ChemLabS, entitled A Chemical Delight. Chemistry Postgraduate student Andy Chapman also delivered a talk on The Chemistry of Chocolate.

BBC Points West broadcast live from Cheltenham Ladies College for their lunchtime and evening news. BBC Radio Gloucestershire, BBC Radio Bristol and the Gloucestershire Echo also covered the event, which was sponsored by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
