The Children of the 90s project is one of the largest and most detailed of its kind in the world and some 600 researchers worldwide use the data generated to conduct research across the social and bio-medical sciences. The study is funded by the University of Bristol, the Wellcome Trust and the Medical Research Council.
To mark the Wellcome Trust’s 75th anniversary this year, Children of the 90s will be asking everyone connected with the study – staff (past and present), participants, researchers, funders, policymakers and the people of Bristol – to express what the study means to them through words, photos or video. The material will be gathered online and an individual artist or team of artists is being sought to curate the stories that emerge from the material.
Expressions of interest are invited by Friday 12 August and the deadline submitting applications is noon on Wednesday 17 August. Full details of the art project brief (PDF, 160kB) are available.
