A talented engineering student from the University of Bristol had the opportunity to meet one of the UK’s most inspirational sports figures. Hannah Gee, a first-year undergraduate studying mechanical engineering, was treated to a rare opportunity to meet Lewis Hamilton, the British Formula 1 racing driver, currently racing for the McLaren team.

The visit, arranged through the Santander Universities Scheme of which Bristol is a member, enabled one deserving student to meet the sports star for a special Q & A session at Santander's Milton Keynes office.

Hannah said: "It was an amazing opportunity, and I feel very privileged to have been selected. With my career path hopefully heading into motor sport, it was very insightful and also a great way to meet other engineers with the same aspirations. Meeting Lewis Hamilton has definitely made my dream of working for Formula 1 seem more realistic."
