The University hosted a visit from BBC Breakfast television today [22 April], for a live broadcast from the Wills Memorial Building as part of their build up to the political leaders’ debate taking place in Bristol tonight.

The University hosted a visit from BBC Breakfast television today [22 April] for a live broadcast from the Wills Memorial Building as part of their build up to the political leaders’ debate taking place in Bristol tonight.

BBC Breakfast presenter, Bill Turnbull, did live interviews throughout the programme including with the chairs of the Students' Union political societies: Thomas Vie, Bristol University Conservative Association (BUCA), Gus Baker, University of Bristol Labour Club and Andrew Hollingsworth, University of Bristol Liberal Democrats.

Mark Wickham-Jones, Professor of Political Science in the Department of Politics, was featured on the programme and has also commented on tonight’s debate, see Reuters, Jack FM and BusinessWeek.
