Many blood tests require multiple samples over a period of time, which when done manually can be unpleasant and can lead to errors. The new, automated system developed by Dr David Henley and his colleagues at Bristol takes samples at regular intervals without repeated insertions of a needle, allowing for greater comfort and consistency in the timing and quality of samples.
