University Nursery Spring Fair celebrates centenary

2 April 2009

The University Nursery’s annual Spring Fair will be held on Saturday 16 May, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the nursery building in St Michael’s Park.

There will be lots of fun-filled activities for children on the day, including face painting, games and crafts, as well as stalls and a fund-raising auction for the adults. A professional photographer will be on hand to take family portraits. Refreshments include hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and a barbecue.

All current nursery children and their parents are welcome to attend, and, as this is the University’s centenary year, any children who have attended the University Nursery in the past are particularly welcome, as are their parents.

If your child is not currently attending the nursery but you would like to come to the fair, please contact the Nursery Manager, Justine Britton, on scjab@bristol.ac.uk.

The nursery is also hoping to organise a display of photos of children and families associated with the Nursery in the past, and of past nursery events, and the Nursery Manager is keen to hear from anyone who is willing to share images.
