Bristol University hosts major seminar on disability

The School of Law and Norah Fry Research Centre will host a seminar on Monday 9 February to look at implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the UK.

The School of Law and Norah Fry Research Centre will host a seminar on Monday 9 February to look at implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the UK.

The seminar will bring together invited representatives of government, national human rights commissions and civil society organisations to discuss how they will work together to implement and monitor the Convention across the UK. This is a unique opportunity for key individuals and organisations to meet and discuss practical ways forward.

The seminar is being funded by the Department for Work and Pensions.
