September, a film by Esther May Campbell, a graduate of the Department of Drama: Theatre, Film, Television, has been awarded the prize for Best British Film at this year’s Encounters International Festival.

The award includes British Council funding for the film's exhibition abroad. September has also been selected for the BFI cataloguing archive.
