Professor Simon Burgess from the University’s Centre for Market and Public Organisation was interviewed about public-sector bonuses on BBC Radio 4's Today programme yesterday [Tuesday 22 July].

He and Lord James, corporate troubleshooter and Conservative life peer, debated whether public servants, like top executives at the BBC or Network Rail, should get bonuses to bring them into line with the private sector.
