The event, to celebrate all the students that have played at the highest level in sport during their time at Bristol University, takes place at midday at the University’s Coombe Dingle Sports Complex.

The weekend will include matches between past and present students in the following sports, men and women’s hockey, women’s football, netball and lacrosse, men’s rugby and cricket. Matches start at 2 pm and spectators are welcome.

The students and alumni will celebrate in the evening in the University’s Great Hall with a dinner, hosted by Bristol University Vice Chancellor, Professor Eric Thomas.  A small auction of sports memorabilia will be staged on the night to raise funds to help the recovery of the University’s Sports Development Officer, Tamara Johnson, who is currently in rehabilitation at a specialist spinal unit in Hampshire.
