George Brandt, Emeritus Professor of Drama and one of the founding members of the Department of Drama, died on 24 September 2007, shortly before his 87th birthday. An appreciation of his life and work was published last year.

There will be a celebration of Professor Brandt’s life and work at the Wickham Theatre on 8 June from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
