A summary of December workshops for staff run by LTSS to encourage the use of technology in learning, teaching and research at Bristol.

The Learning and Teaching Support Service (LTSS) offers a programme of workshops throughout the year to University staff, as part of its aim to encourage, enable and evaluate the use of technology in learning, teaching and research at Bristol.

The following workshops are coming up in December:

New web-based tools for collaboration and reflection in learning and teaching (LT1INT)
This workshop is designed to introduce a range of technologies that have direct application in learning and teaching for collaborative work and personal reflection. Practical advice and examples will be given along with hands-on opportunities to use and evaluate how the new technologies can be applied to meet educational needs.

Strategies for successful online discussion (LT1SSD)
This workshop aims to give an overview of online communication and its use in learning and teaching contexts, and to assess how using discussion activities might be used in participants' own teaching.
