The programme will offer six-week courses for beginners and improvers covering a variety of sports including, badminton, korfball, swimming, squash and trampolining. The specialist coaching sessions will aim to teach both the tactical and technical elements of the sports.
John Wilford, Sports Development Manager at the Centre, said: "The beginner and improver sport courses are a great opportunity to try a completely new sport, or get a bit better at one tried before, in a relaxed and friendly setting, supported by qualified, experienced sports coaches. Most importantly, they offer the chance to meet new people, get active and have fun!"
All courses run for six-weeks and start on Monday 5 November. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices for non-members of the University’s Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health, are from £24, prices for members are from £18.
