University Internships: Find out more

29 August 2007

For an introduction to the new University of Bristol Internships scheme and how your department can benefit from taking part, book your place on a presentation session on Thursday 20 September.

Over the last year the Careers Service, with funding from the Alumni Annual Fund, has pioneered a new scheme: University of Bristol Internships.

If you have recruited students in the past or are thinking about doing so in the future, come along to the following lunchtime presentation to learn more about the scheme:

Thursday 20 September at 12.30pm in the Brunel Room at The Hawthorns

There will be an informal Q&A session with departments who have recruited interns over the past year, together with current student interns.

Internships can accomplish a number of things, including:

  • Managing demand within your department
  • Addressing the shortage of placement opportunities at Bristol
  • Supporting Widening Participation students
  • Increasing students’ employability
