The Bristol Watershed hosted the prestigious event, which was recorded by Montage Communications and turned into a cutting-edge Podcast of all the key discussions and revelations.
The evening, one of many planned throughout the year, was an opportunity to question some of Bristol's most prominent and experienced entrepreneurs.
It provided 90 minutes of in-depth analysis, strategic pearls of wisdom and amusing anecdotes from the business coal-face, the edited version of which is now available to listen to online by logging on to:

The panel of speakers included Mike Bennett, co-founder of E3, one of the UK’s leading internet and digital agencies; James Foster, founder of XMOS Semiconductor and former CEO of Oxford Semiconductor, a global, leading supplier of consumer storage semiconductor solutions; Sandu Hellings, who now runs RiskHive, a leading provider of risk and scenario-modelling applications; and Irfon Watkins of Coull Ltd, who brings extensive commercial experience in high-tech multinationals to his role as CEO.
Topics for debate included tips on how to market your business, views on the Bristol economy and opportunities for further investment, and advice on red tape and gearing your business for success. The panellists also offered some advice to PM-designate Gordon Brown on how the UK could best support growing businesses.
Paul Harrod, Co-ordinator of the Bristol Enterprise Network, said: “This is the first time the Question Time format has taken place in the city and it attracted over 100 of the region’s key business people and entrepreneurs. Thanks to Montage Communications we are able to ensure that the highlights of the evening's event will be made available to an even wider audience of entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and students.
Commercial Director at Montage, Matthew Anderson, said: “We launched our Pod and Videocast services this spring and it is a great accolade to work with the Bristol Enterprise Network to provide a unique Podcast that is now available online to inspire the business community and give them a valuable reference tool they can listen to time and again.”
