This year’s Semana Cultural (Cultural Week) begins on Saturday and runs until 17 March.

The Semana Cultural is a highly successful annual event celebrating and examining Luso-Hispanic culture, organised by the Department of Hispanic, Portuguese and Latin American Studies. The intensive programme includes lectures and seminars on a large and exciting range of historical, political and cultural subjects as well as exhibitions, films, performances, culinary events and celebrations. Contributors come from a wide variety of backgrounds and from universities all over the world.

You can download details from the Department’s web pages. Further information is available from the organiser, Rogelio Vallejo.
