Bookings are now being taken for the Easter children's sport camps at the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health, Tyndall Avenue.

This scheme, recognised by the University as a high quality service for staff and student parents and their friends, is supported by Positive Working Environment and offers an invaluable, ideally located and fun experience for children. The courses are also open to the local community.

Children can choose from a range of progressive coaching courses in 20 different sports as well as take the one-day taster in sports they may never have tried before. Details of local opportunities for children to continue their favourite sports can be provided on request.

The camps are open to children aged 8-15.

Dates and prices
Thursday 5 April: One-Day Taster Special         £30
Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 April: Week 1              £88
Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 April: Week 2     £66

Venue: Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health, Tyndall Avenue

  • Long supervisory hours (8.30am-5.30pm)
  • Apart from the one-day taster, individual days are not available for booking owing to the progressive nature of the courses across the 3 or 4 days.
  • There are only 50 places per week.
