The Group will advise international and national bodies on violence against women issues through consulting with government departments and agencies in the UK and with international organisations and national governments in other countries.  VAWRG is also in contact with networks of policymakers, practitioners and global inter-agency initiatives.

Dr Geetanjali Gangoli, Co-ordinating Officer, VAWRG said: “VAWRG hopes to build on its successes by helping women combat the issues of domestic violence, whilst also increasing the Group’s national and international reputation.”
