Valuing diversity - the disability agenda


A well-known campaigner on disability rights will be at Bristol University this Friday [9 November] as part of the University's Celebration 2001.

The public lecture, entitled 'Valuing diversity - the disability agenda', by Disability Rights Commissioner and ex co-director of the National Centre for Independent Living, Jane Campbell MBE, takes place at 6 pm in the Victoria Rooms, Queen's Road.

Jane Campbell will talk about how the voice of the disabled people's civil rights movement has been paramount in transforming society's view of diversity as it relates to disability.
