As part of a Ministry of Justice funded project, from 23rd-26th July 2023 Prof Rachel Murray was a member of a team visiting the UK Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct a pilot inspection of HMP Dhekelia, to test a framework for future monitoring of all prisons in the Overseas Territories.
