The University of Bristol Human Rights Implementation Centre has been hosting, in collaboration with the Centre for Democracy and Human Rights in Africa (CHRDA) in Cameroon, a series of webinars on strategic litigation for Cameroonian lawyers.

Bringing in expert speakers on litigating before the African and UN human rights systems, the programme, which began on 4 July 2022, provides guidance for lawyers in planning strategic litigation and aims to identify potential cases.

The programme is funded by the IAA (Impact Accelerator Account) and follows on from work undertaken through an ESRC grant on implementation of human rights decisions.
