Online, via Zoom

On 3 May 2023 the Centre for International Law will be welcoming Rosa Crawford for a discussion about her experience of the challenges for protecting international labour rights.

Rosa Crawford is Policy Officer in the Rights, International, Social and Economics department of the Trades Union Congress (TUC).

As part of her role, Rosa sits on the both UK and EU Domestic Advisory Groups - independent bodies created under free trade agreements to ensure effective implementation of trade & sustainable development commitments (including labour rights). She regularly provides evidence to Parliament on trade negotiations and trade issues.

Rosa will discuss her journey into the world of international labour rights and trade, her experience of the challenges for protecting labour rights and decent jobs through trade agreements, and the opportunities that they can create.

This online event is open to Law School staff and students: please book your place via Eventbrite.
